We were delighted to host a counter-terrorism seminar at The Crowne Plaza, Blanchardstown, Dublin on May 4th. Clients who are responsible for some of the most populous venues such as shopping centres, stadiums and hospitals, were among the many attendees who joined us for the seminar.
NOONAN’s counter terrorism expert, Ken Stewart, shared insights and strategies he gained as Head of Crime and Counter Terrorism at the City of London Police. Ken discussed the key aspects of Project Griffin, which he helped devise in response to the 9/11 attacks. Project Griffin helps protect cities and communities from the threat of terrorism. It has been identified as national best practice in the UK and has been adopted in countries such as the USA, Australia, South Africa and Canada.
Ken explained the threat of terrorism, how to detect and deter hostile reconnaissance and how best to protect Customers, Colleagues and Property.
